Droimnin Nursing Home is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our compassionate care team.
About the Role:
As a Senior HCA, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. You will support and mentor junior staff, assist with care planning, and ensure the wellbeing and dignity of every resident is maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct personal care and support to residents
- Assist with medication administration under supervision
- Support the nursing team in daily clinical tasks
- Mentor and guide junior HCAs
- Promote a safe and positive environment for residents and staff
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as an HCA, with leadership or senior responsibilities preferred
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Relevant healthcare qualifications
