Job Title: Senior Frontend Engineer (Angular)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer with deep expertise in Angular to join our development team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining performant, scalable, and user-centric web applications. This role requires a strong command of frontend technologies, state management patterns (NgRx, Redux, NgXS), and unit testing. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem-solver with a passion for clean code and modern UI architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Frontend Development: Design, develop, and optimize high-quality, responsive user interfaces using Angular.
- Component Architecture: Create reusable and maintainable components and libraries that promote scalability and consistency across the application.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver seamless and intuitive user experiences.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain unit tests using Jest (or Jasmine/Karma) to ensure robustness and reduce regressions.
- Version Control & Code Reviews: Manage source code via GitHub, participate in peer code reviews, and uphold coding standards.
- Project Tracking: Use Jira to manage tasks, track bugs, and ensure timely delivery of features and fixes.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve frontend performance, addressing scalability and responsiveness issues proactively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with at least 3 years focused on Angular.
- Technical Expertise:
- Advanced proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Practical experience with state management libraries (NgRx, Redux, or NgXS).
- Proficient in unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Jasmine, or Karma.
- Solid understanding of integrating RESTful APIs into frontend applications.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- UI/UX Implementation: Proven experience translating designs into responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.
- Code Quality: Commitment to clean code principles, modular architecture, and scalable design patterns.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deploying frontend applications.
- Experience adhering to frontend architecture standards and best practices.
- Awareness of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
- Previous experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to end-to-end testing tools such as Playwright.
