What you will do:
As a PEC Specialist, you will be a PEC subject matter expert/technical lead for the Instruments division, adept at interpreting and applying the various PEC program requirements across Instruments' broad product portfolio, supporting both the new product development (NPD) pipeline and sustaining project activities. This includes a heavy focus partnering with NPD teams to support identification of PEC program design inputs being developed based on the target markets, as well as providing ongoing PEC technical support to the project team with interpreting and applying the various PEC requirements to the product(s) in scope of the project. You will be the "go-to" for our internal customers seeking guidance/information over specific PEC requirements, to include providing inputs in reviewing and assessing environmental compliance supporting documentation to ensure it meets applicable requirements.
You will also support the PEC divisional process owner (DPO) with quality management system continuous process improvements and PEC-related job aid development. You will have the opportunity to provide training to impacted teams and will manage the divisional PEC Point site. Ideally, you will become the technical lead for one or more PEC regulations and/or divisional PEC processes. You may also have opportunities to support divisional/corporate PEC projects.
What you need
- BA or BS in Science, Legal, Regulatory, Engineering, or equivalent
- Prefer degree or certificate program specialized in environmental compliance and regulation
- Minimum of 6 years of work experience required, 2 years experience with environmental compliance focus is preferred
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of US and International environmental regulations
