Reporting to:
· Overall responsibility will be instructed by the General Manager.
· The Sign Maker - Trainee will specifically report to the Operations Manager daily.
Key Responsibilities, Requirements and Skills required:
· Preparing graphics & signage in a timely manner whilst ensuring quality standards are achieved consistently.
· Installing various types of signage including vehicle graphics, chevrons, internal & external signage.
· Following company procedures relating to the production and installation of signage and graphics.
· Ensure method statements are followed and completed where required.
· Ensure all equipment is routinely checked for safety and maintenance requirements.
· Be flexible with start and finish times to enable the company to deliver jobs effectively.
· Undertake regular stock checks of tools and materials.
· Driving License and own transport essential.
· Solving problems on own initiative, seeking the support of the company hierarchy, when necessary.
· Developing the company brand and suggesting new ideas to keep the company ahead of its competition.
· Liaising with all administrative functions and maintaining good working relationships.
Duties:
· Using the plotters, printing machines and application tools as well as hand cutting.
