Sleep & Respiratory Physiologist - Casual on Call
We are currently looking for Sleep/Respiratory Physiologist (causal on call) to join our Sleep and Clinical Physiology lab.
This is a casual post with shifts available on Sundays.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the set up of overnight diagnostic polysomnography test.
- Typing up of Consultant reports.
- Participate in work practices already established within the department.
- Ensure that all records are properly and accurately maintained.
- Observe at all times the strictest confidence when dealing with the patient or hospital information.
- Maintenance of international protocol as per sleep laboratory and clinical physiology guidelines.
- Ensure reasonable precautions and safeguards are in place for all patients and persons using the laboratory.
Requirements:
- ECNE Board Exam or diploma/degree of Physiological Measurement from College of Technology, Kevin Street Dublin or BSc in Clinical Measurement or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Possess awareness and sensitivity towards patients needs.
- Have strong communication skills and an ability to work under pressure.
- Direction and ability to use initiative.
