About Prosolar
Prosolar is a family-run business and part of the RVR Group, which has been delivering high-quality energy solutions for over 30 years. We specialise in solar PV, battery storage and EV Charger installations across domestic, commercial, and agricultural settings. As the sector grows, so too does our team—and we remain committed to providing customers with reliable, top-tier solar solutions.
The Role
We’re looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented installer to join our solar installation crew. Working alongside an experienced Crew Lead, you’ll help install, maintain, and troubleshoot solar PV systems. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in roofing, carpentry, or a similar trade—someone who takes pride in quality work and is comfortable working at heights.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of solar PV panels, mounting systems, and associated components.
- Support site preparation tasks such as measurements, layout planning, and safety checks.
- Follow installation plans and safety protocols under the guidance of the Crew Lead.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work site, ensuring tools and materials are used safely.
- Communicate clearly with the Crew Lead and report any issues or needs on site.
- Complete necessary documentation such as safety checklists and job records.
What We Offer
- Competitive Salary: Based on your experience and responsibilities.
- Guaranteed Pay: Your pay remains consistent even if work is delayed due to weather.
- Transport Provided: Company vehicle or shared transport from agreed location.
- Training & Development: Learn through on-site shadowing with an experienced team.
- Career Progression: Opportunity to grow within a fast-expanding renewable energy company.
What We’re Looking For
- Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and Working at Heights certifications.
- Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops.
- Experience in roofing, carpentry, or construction.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Prior experience in solar PV installation is a strong advantage, but not essential.

If you have a background in roofing or carpentry and are eager to build your skills in the solar industry, we’d love to hear from you. At Prosolar, you’ll join a trusted, family-run company with a hands-on team and a focus on quality renewable energy solutions.
