Key Responsibilities;
To work with the authority delegated to him/herby the manager/Team Lead/Social Care Leader
Meet with manager/Team Lead/Social Care Leader at regular intervals regarding the progress of his/her work
To assist the Manager /Team Lead in the day to day running of the project.
To provide direct support to residents through;
Intervention, support and supervision
To promote advocacy and referral to community services
To supervise the behaviour of residents at all times
To plan recreational and/or group activities
To assist the residents casework through;
Communication with staff when relevant
Assisting the residents with Individual Personal Plans
Ensure the residents are fully informed about all entitlements.
To maintain a healthy and living environment through;
Adherence to safety & security protocols
Ensuring the environment is maintained to a high standard at all times
Keeping stock of all household necessities and purchasing weekly groceries.
Advice and support residents with housekeeping needs
Mediating disputes and encouraging co-operation.
To undertake administrative duties through;
Maintaining residents details and documentation
Actively participating in staff meetings
Providing written reports to the manager/Team Lead/Social Care Leader
Recording any incidents/accidents that may occur.
To have a positive and enthusiastic outlook at work;
In your interactions with both management staff and residents at work.
In your interactions with external agencies.
Other Duties;
Any other duties assigned by the manager/Team Lead/Social Care Leader
Qualifications;
Level 5/6 in Social Care /Health Care
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: €16.00-€18.00 per hour
