Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB) invites applications for the following teaching position, expected to arise in Cavan Institute PLC during the 2025/2026 academic year. A panel may be formed from which similar appointments may be made.
Vacancy: Teacher of Sports Therapy and Sports Fitness L5 and L6: This is a Job Share vacancy, term-time only during the 2025/26 academic year.
Minimum Qualification Requirements: L8 Sports Therapy related discipline area
Venue: Cavan Institute PLC, Cathedral Rd, Keadew, Co Cavan, H12 E426
Modules will include,
- Physiotherapy Assistant Theory
- Exercise, Fitness and Health
- Programming Personal Training with Clients
- Delivering Personal Training Sessions
- Instructing Gym Based Exercise
- Planning Gym Based Exercise
- Anatomy and Physiology for Exercise and Sport
- Work Experience
