Location: Bunratty Castle & Folk Park Retail Co. Clare
Contract: 6 month fixed-Term, 4 Days Per Week (Rostered Monday-Sunday)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated, Team Lead to join the management team at Bunratty Castle & Folk Park Retail, with occasional support at Cliffs of Moher Retail. This is a unique opportunity to work in one of Ireland's most iconic cultural and heritage locations, leading a retail team committed to delivering a best-in-class customer experience.
You will be rostered across a 7-day week, working 4 days per week. This fixed-term position offers you the opportunity to lead, inspire, and grow with a values-driven organisation.
What You'll Do:
As an experienced team lead, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service, driving sales, and leading a high-performing team. Your key responsibilities will include:
Leadership & Customer Experience
- Lead by example, delivering exceptional customer service and creating an outstanding buying experience.
- Motivate and support the sales team to meet and exceed KPIs (Sales, ATV, Conversion, IPT, Data Collection & Shipping Targets).
- Foster a positive, high-performance team environment aligned with our company values.
Operations & Sales
- Open and close the store, with full responsibility for keyholder duties.
- Manage the store's alarm system and ensure the security protocol is followed at all times.
- Oversee & actively participate in daily cash management from point-of-sale to secure collection (Brinks).
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure store presentation reflects our brand values.
- Liaise with suppliers and reps to manage stock, displays, and returns.
- Support the implementation of promotions, events, and product launches.
Stock & Product Knowledge
- Assist in regular stock management
- Checking off deliveries, putting away stock & shop floor replenishment
- Stock Cycle Counting
- Develop a deep understanding of our product range, its heritage, and craftsmanship to confidently support sales through link-selling and upselling.

- A natural leader with a passion for retail and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in a retail or customer-facing supervisory role.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Confident in using KPIs to drive performance and achieve results.
- Flexible, dependable, and comfortable working weekends and public holidays as part of a roster.
