A leading Irish housebuilder is seeking a Town Planning Project Manager to join their well-established in-house planning team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of large-scale residential developments across Ireland, working on projects from early feasibility and acquisition through to planning and post-planning delivery stages.
- Forward Planning & Site Appraisal: Support site acquisition efforts by identifying new opportunities, preparing feasibility studies, and conducting due diligence on planning risk and potential.
- Policy Monitoring & Representations: Track national, regional, and local planning policies and development plans. Assist with preparing high-quality submissions and planning representations to influence strategic outcomes.
- Spatial & Market Research: Conduct geographic, demographic, and infrastructure research using ArcGIS and other tools to inform development strategies and optimise land use.
- Planning Compliance & Documentation: Coordinate the timely submission of statutory certificates and ensure all planning compliance documentation is maintained and updated in line with legal and project requirements.
- Design Team Coordination: Liaise with internal departments and external consultants (architects, engineers, planners) to manage planning applications and ensure deliverables are aligned with project timelines.
- Reporting & Planning Support: Assist with maintaining the planning compliance tracker, preparing monthly planning reports, managing calendars, and providing general administrative and operational support to the planning team.
