About Investments
Our Investments team manages RenaissanceRe’s $29 billion investment portfolio, allocating our assets, either directly or through investment managers, to deliver alpha against our strategic benchmark. We invest in a diverse range of assets from treasuries and corporate bonds to equities and private credit to provide capital and liquidity for underwriting risk and paying claims. Our investment portfolio is one of RenaissanceRe’s “Three Drivers of Profit”, along with underwriting income and fees, providing $1.2 billion in net investment income in 2023 to benefit our shareholders and joint venture partners. About Investments Operations
The Investments Operations team is responsible for supporting all Investments middle office activities, including trade support and settlement, counterparty maintenance, compliance, bank account management, data reconciliations and reporting, and performance and attribution. The team supports and works closely with Investments, Treasury, Finance, among other departments to ensure complete and accurate representation of our Investments portfolio.

We are focused on increasing scalability through digitalization, automation, and streamlining processes to enable continued excellence in delivering to our clients, partners, stakeholders, and employees. This is an exciting opportunity to join the transformation journey, work directly with the core Investments team, external managers, and on the BlackRock Aladdin platform.
About the Position
Reporting directly to the AVP, Trade Support Manager, the Trade Support Analyst will provide crucial support to the Investments Operations team as we scale to fit our expanded remit. This person will assist in post-trade activities, including portfolio onboarding, counterparty maintenance, security data management, asset transfers, cash management, trade confirmation, trade settlement, trade query and investigation, corporate actions, custody, and reconciliations.
The Trade Support Analyst will be based in the Dublin office and work alongside peers on the Investments Operations team. We have teams based in Bermuda, Dublin, London, and New York, creating a vibrant and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform trade capturing, confirmation, and settlement, ensuring timely and accurate recording of trade data and reconciling broker-related information
Execute daily reconciliation of internal and external portfolios, including start of day cash & positions, supporting month-end processes
Support post-trade activities including confirmations, settlements, trade query resolution, and maintain settlement instructions in compliance with operational best practices
Coordinate with counterparties, custodians, vendors, and BlackRock Operations team to ensure compliance with settlement instructions and agreed SLAs
Assist with portfolio onboarding, offboarding and maintenance activities using internal and external systems.
Maintain security master data accuracy, enabling appropriate financial data organization and supporting daily data quality checks using system controls framework
Handle corporate action notifications and processing; manage impact on portfolios when corporate actions occur
Support coordination with Trading team and other pillar leads (Compliance, Data & Reporting, Performance) on activities impacting their areas
Identify opportunities for operational scalability and efficiency, contributing to automation initiatives and participating in UAT and providing documentation of processes and procedures, as needed
Assist with the review of data quality across proprietary and external investment and trading systems and databases, highlighting risks, opportunities for improvement, or other recommended updates
Support operational and management reporting requirements as needed
Candidate Qualifications:
Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in Investment Operations or Middle Office within the financial services industry
Experience with BlackRock Solutions Aladdin and Bloomberg an advantage
Knowledge of investments, fixed income markets, and/or fund accounting
Strong analytical and data management skills
Proficiency with MS Office including Excel
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, fluid environment
Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
A team player who enjoys rolling their sleeves up and helping out
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
