Ayrton Group are seeking SLG Card Holder to oversee traffic management works in Galway City - this is a long term project. Please note: SLG qualification is essential.
Duties:
- Set up, maintain and remove work zones up according to Traffic Management Plans.
- Carry out any necessary adjustments to ensure works continues in a safe manner.
- Duties may include - Stop/Go systems, road closures and diversions, set up & operation of traffic light systems and pedestrian management.
- Operate two-way radios with a team of Traffic Management Operatives.
- Communicate effectively with members of the public and contractors alike.
- Ensure the safety of yourself, the workforce, public and any other person affected by your duties.
- Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- SLG Card required.
- Safe Pass Card required.
- Manual Handling Certificate required.
- Full driving licence.
- Excellent communication and time keeping skills.
- Reliable and flexible with the ability to use own initiative.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time).
- Commitment to health and safety.
