Care Assistants
Training Centres, Day Services & Community Hubs
(aligned to the Care Assistant (Disability Services)salary scale)
This role will be based in Horizons Training Centres/Day Services and Community Day Hubs.
As part of this role you will be supporting in the transitioning of the people we support, from a training centre environment to their day service/ community hub.

This shift pattern for this role will generally be Monday to Friday however flexibility with will be required in line with service delivery.
Successful candidates for all positions will:
- Possess a QQI 5 Major Award qualification in a relevant area
- Have a general understanding of current legislation (New Directions, ADMA, UNCRPD)
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Demonstrate previous engagement within community-based settings
- Possess initiative, flexibility & good organisational skills
- Excellent team working skills
- Good IT Skills
- A Full clean driver’s licence (is desirable)
