We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Transfer Agency Cash Oversight Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland– Hybrid 4 days a week in office.
Transfer Agency (TA) Cash Oversight Assistant Manager (Senior Associate) is responsible for all Cash Oversight responsibilities in Ireland/Luxembourg, ensuring that the required functions adhere to Ireland Outsourcing and Investor Money Regulations. The Assistant Manager reports into the Oversight Manager.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
General Cash Responsibilities:
- Ensure you have a comprehensive knowledge of all of our Cash Procedures.
- Day to day oversight of all Cash Reconciliation operations, including oversight of Outsourcing Service Provider (OSP) locations.
- Daily sign-off of Cash Reconciliation Completeness Checks.
- Attend and Contribute to the Monthly Outsourcing Committee Review.
- Escalation of Aged and/or Large cash breaks, including Proving & Aging Reporting.
- Management of Transfer Agency’s Cash Reconciliation systems, including contingency systems/processes.
- Liaise with Audit and Compliance in reviews of the business.
- Liaise with wider TA team and other associated stakeholders in relation to Fund Launches and any associated Cash Model questions.
- Manage all Cash related projects, ensuring all are: scoped and resourced appropriately; managed closely with agreed milestones; milestones and timelines tracked and documented; progress and issues reported periodically.
- Create and update reporting on Reconciliation for Senior Management.le, we’re seeking the following:
- Degree in relevant discipline
- At least 4 years experience in Transfer Agency preferably in Alternative Transfer Agency
- Co-ordinate daily/weekly/monthly management information systems (MIS).
- Ensure projects allocated to you by your line Manager are completed within the deadlines laid down.
- Ensure BNY and client standard procedures and controls are adhered to on a daily basis by all staff under your management.
- Review functional checklists and procedures to ensure sufficient controls are in place to accurately complete functional tasks.
- Ensure all staff are advised of client and departmental procedural changes, that these changes are understood by all staff and that procedures and checklists are updated to reflect same
Investor Money Responsibilities :
- Ensure you have a comprehensive knowledge of the Investor Money Regulations and our procedures and policies governing them.
- Preparation and/or review of daily Investor Money Reconciliations and Daily Calculations for all Investor Money Collection Accounts where we are acting as the Fund Service Provider.
- Immediate escalation of any Shortfall or Excess amounts resulting from our Daily Calculation.
- Liaison with the Finance Team to resolve the Shortfall or Excess, and manage any resulting follow-ups.
- Breach Reporting to Compliance, including instances of Shortfalls, Delays to or non-completion of obligations, Aged reconciliation breaks, etc.
- All Reporting obligations to our Head of Investor Money Oversight Office.
- Manage the Clearstream and Euroclear settlement process with the Dealing Teams in order to avoid cash breaks and any potential Investor Money shortfalls and excesses.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- BS or BA in a business related field preferred
- 5 plus years’ experience in Financial Services, preferably Transfer Agency or Cash Operations in a complex industry such as alternative investments and 1-3 years’ experience managing people.
- Knowledge and understanding of compliance and regulatory issues, including Outsourcing, IMR and anti-money laundering requirements.
- Superior oral and written communication skills.
- Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to lead and develop your team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and technical operations.
- Understanding and usage of artificial intelligence in business environment (advantage not a requirement)
