Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Travel Coordinator to manage and oversee all travel arrangements for our European employees. The ideal candidate will be responsible for booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and ensuring that all travel complies with company policies and budgets. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, book, and coordinate domestic and European travel for staff, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and visas.
- Monitor travel schedules, itineraries, and changes, ensuring timely communication
- Maintain travel records and documentation for expense tracking, audits, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with corporate travel policies and optimize travel expenses.
- Resolve travel-related issues, such as delays, cancellations, or emergencies.
- Liaise with travel agencies, vendors, and service providers to secure preferred rates and services.
- Provide the employee with necessary travel documents and information (e.g., itineraries, travel insurance, requirements).
- Assist with group travel planning for conferences, meetings, and events.
- Prepare and distribute travel reports and expense summaries to management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Travel Coordinator, Travel Agent, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel logistics.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and travel management software.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple trips simultaneously.
