An opportunity to become an integral member of the processing/treasury department supporting the daily operations of the treasury function with a strong focus on FX management
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and confirm FX transactions via online portals
- Monitor daily FX rates and support the business in identifying and mitigating currency risks
- Track and analyse FX market trends and economic indicators
- Provide insights into currency fluctuations and explain market drivers
- Reconcile FX trades, settlements and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Work with internal teams to support treasury reporting
- Oversee and manage individual accounts, assisting with queries and delivering relevant reports within allocated time frames
- Support treasury manager and other internal stakeholders with ad-hoc requests, analysis and investigations
Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
- Excellent numerical skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail
- Good organisational capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and use personal initiative
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable to change and open to learning new skills
- Understanding of card processing and the card payment process an advantage
- Working knowledge of bank reconciliations, treasury, foreign exchange and settlement processes an advantage
- Understanding of treasury systems an advantage
