Job Title: Truck Driver – Food Delivery to Schools

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dependable Truck Driver to deliver food to schools across a fixed route in Ireland. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, is comfortable with night shifts, and takes pride in punctual, accurate deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and deliver food items to schools overnight
- Operate a handheld scanner to record deliveries accurately
- Follow a planned route efficiently and safely
- Ensure proper handling of food items, maintaining hygiene and safety standards
- Keep the delivery van clean and report any vehicle issues
- Complete basic delivery paperwork or electronic logs as needed
Shift Information:
- Night shifts to be decided
- 5 nights, Sunday to Thursday
Requirements:
- Full Irish/EU driving licence (B and C licence)
- Good communication and timekeeping skills
- Ability to work night shifts independently
- Comfortable handling food items and using a handheld scanner (training provided)
- Previous van driving or delivery experience is beneficial but not essential
