Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB) invites applications for the following Tutor post in CMETB's Further Education and Training Services, across centres in County Cavan and County Monaghan.
Part Time Tutor of Solar Photovoltaic Systems Implementation/Installations- QQI Level 6
Approx 6-12 hours per week commencing September 2025.
Modules to include:
- Photovoltaic cell technologies
- Solar PV output
- Planning requirements for Solar PV installations
- Legislative and regulatory considerations
- Maintenance requirements for Solar PV systems
- Health & Safety requirements
Minimum Level 7 qualification required, preferable in electrical/construction related discipline. If delivering QQI Level 6 Micro Solar Photovoltaic Systems Installation, applicant must hold QQI Level 6 ( 6N007) award along with a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate/National Craft Certificate- Electrical or equivalent. Applicants should be able to demonstrate relevant industry experience
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering just one module from the list outlined above.
