The Role

Origina's Commercial Lab is a newly formed strategic division uniting Licensing, Security & Regulatory Services, and Contract Deconstruction into one powerhouse of innovation, commercial activation, and customer value creation. As the VP, of 'The Lab', you'll be at the forefront of shaping the future of our business, delivering smarter ways to protect our customers, unlocking value we’re currently giving away, and generating commercial uplift across every deal.
This is a senior leadership role for a builder, a strategist, and a changemaker. It’s not about managing functions; it’s about turning potential into performance, and creativity into contracts.
This high-impact position will oversee a global, cross-functional team, acting as the strategic engine behind some of Origina’s most critical commercial and operational growth goals. You'll influence revenue, expand the scope of service tiers, and champion repeatable, scalable playbooks that drive consistency and efficiency.
You’ll collaborate deeply with our C-suite & Executive, ensuring what we build gets sold effectively and delivered consistently - making The Lab the heartbeat of Origina’s go-to-market evolution.
What You'll Do
- Own and Activate ‘The Lab’: Lead the division to directly support high-stakes growth and account expansion across global markets.
- Drive Commercial Impact: Ensure Lab engagement translates into measurable pipeline growth, improved win rates, and higher Annual Contract Value (More for Longer).
- Design Repeatable Playbooks: Build scalable frameworks and engagement models aligned to tiered pricing and service delivery expectations.
- Bridge Innovation and Execution: Serve as the conduit between innovation, sales, and delivery - connecting the what, why, and how.
- Champion Internal Collaboration: Influence and align cross-functional teams across Sales, Delivery, and Product Strategy to maximise The Lab’s strategic reach.
- Develop Future Leaders: Cultivate a high-performing team and bench-strength that’s ready to scale with Origina.
About you
- Proven experience in senior strategic, commercial, and innovative leadership role - ideally within technology or enterprise services
- A track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through cross-functional influence
- Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of revenue drivers in complex B2B sales cycles
- Ability to build frameworks, scale operations, and develop high-performing teams
- Comfort operating in ambiguity while driving clarity, results, and accountability
- Passion for innovation and transformation within a high-growth company
- Proven ability to lead with a balance of strategic accountability and people-first leadership
- Strong focus on developing talent, fostering a culture of ownership, and building resilient, results-driven teams
