We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Senior Loan Agency Specialist II to join our Corporate Trust Operations team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland – hybrid working.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Responsible for servicing a portfolio of syndicated and bilateral loans
- Manage daily administration of loan activities, to include facilitating loan advances, payments rate pricing, and fees.
- Ability to read and interpret commercial loan agreement and documents, as necessary.
- Provide training, guidance, technical assistance, and operational support to team members
- Ensure that risks are appropriately identified and actively managed
- Manage complex external escalations resolving operational issues as appropriate
- Serve as point of contact for complex escalations, operational and technical issues, and ensuring proper resolution
- May allocate/coordinate work within a team/project, and employ subject matter and industry expertise for syndicated loans within defined area (s)
- Assist in communicating needs and issues with internal teams and external clients.
- Initiates and supports key business programs, including business and process improvements to drive greater operational efficiencies
- Resolve complex issues based on an understanding and knowledge of the intricacies of the loan system.
- Use in-depth area knowledge to apply ingenuity and creativity to common repeat problems and determines more permanent resolutions.
- Actively assists team manager with developing and driving strategic plans and initiatives
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Preferably degree education and/or industry qualifications
- 7 years of directly related experience with syndicated loans and/or comparable commercial banking experience
- Experience with Loan IQ and ClearPar strongly preferred
- Prior experience acting as a subject matter expert and coordinating the work of others.
- Ability to lead, provide guidance and work under limited supervision
- Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
