As a Visual Art Teacher, you will play a central role in this mission by fostering artistic expression, critical thinking, and visual literacy in our students. You will inspire learners across a range of abilities to explore their creativity through a dynamic and inclusive curriculum, aligned with the principles of the IB and international best practice.

THE ROLE OF AN ART TEACHER

We are seeking an outstanding, creative, and dynamic Visual Art Teacher to join our team at Nord Anglia International School Dublin from August 2025. The successful candidate will teach Visual Arts across the Primary (PYP) & Early Secondary (MYP) stages, inspire student creativity, and deliver exceptional learning experiences in line with IB and international standards.

As a Teacher At NAIS Dublin, You Will

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that challenge and support all learners.
  • Lead curriculum planning, assessment, and reporting aligned with IB expectations.
  • Support students' academic, personal, and creative development.
  • Contribute to a vibrant arts programme, including exhibitions, trips, and extracurricular initiatives.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Play an active role in the broader school community, including House events and school life beyond the classroom.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts or a related field; teaching qualification essential (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years of successful teaching experience, ideally within IB or international settings.
  • Demonstrates outstanding subject knowledge and classroom practice.
  • Passionate about art education and nurturing student creativity.
  • Confident in using educational technology and integrating digital media in art instruction.
  • Committed to personal development and reflective practice.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
  • A genuine team player, driven, collaborative, and resilient.
