JOB TITLE: Warehouse Line leader
LOCATION: Fyffes Bananas (Balbriggan) Ltd.
HOURS PER WEEK: Full time, permenant position 3 days one week, 4 days next. 5:00AM to 5:00pm
PAY FREQUENCY: Weekly in Arrears
We are seeking applicants for Warehouse Line Leaders at Fyffes Bananas, Balbriggan.
Reporting to the Production Operations Manager, the role involves supervising a team of Warehouse. This is a 2 week roster, 3 days one week, 4 days next. 5:00AM to 5:00pm.
Operatives. The candidate must be prepared to work hard in this key front-line role and take the pressure and responsibilities that go along with it.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervising a team of warehouse operatives to manage the intake of fruit and consumables, loading and unloading of ripening rooms, and a timely efficient delivery of fruit to production and customer sales orders.
- To set targets and work alongside / supervise the staff
- Direct and organise the accurate & productive loading and unloading of vehicles and ensure vehicles leave with the correct documentation, cargo and temperature regime
- Collaborate with Ripening and Quality teams to ensure good fruit delivery service levels.
- Collaborate with Quality in dealing with box quality, fruit rejections, waste disposal and support
- Manage, Check and control production systems to ensure compliance with customer and business requirements
- Order Processing and docket creation on varied operational systems
- Order collation and distribution to necessary team members
- Ensure that the working area is kept tidy and complies with H&S regulations
- Ensure that all products are accurately scanned and labelled correctly prior to dispatch.
KEY SKILLS:
- Computer literate, with SAP experience an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and a good understanding of the English language.
- Good numerical skills.
- Very strong organisational abilities.
- Hands on approach.
- Conscientious and committed with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work on own initiative and in a team environment.
- Must be able to work effectively under pressure.
- Decisive with a need to be able to prioritise workload.
OTHER INFORMATION:
- The ideal candidate should be self motivated, very flexible and a good team player.
- Flexibility will be required in terms of shift pattern and hours worked, in order to meet the daily demands of the business.
- This role will involve working Bank Holidays and weekends as per shift pattern.
- Must be able to transport themselves to and from work easily at various times of the day.

Pay: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
