Warehouse Operative

Role Description
The opportunity has arisen for a full-time Warehouse Operative to work in Avoca Central Stores, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow. This is a full-time permanent position with an immediate start, working 40 hours per week, on a 5 over 7 basis.
Responsibilities
- Stock control through use of the EPOS system.
- Picking orders through use of our replenishment system.
- Packing and processing of orders.
- Working within a team to ensure dispatch is running efficiently.
- Processing orders from an end-to-end process.
- Goods inwards and Outwards.
- Loading and unloading of vans.
- Ad-hoc duties as determined by the Manager.
Requirements
- Experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment is a distinct advantage.
- Communicate effectively with team members.
- Experience working with wireless handhelds devices in a warehouse environment.
- Good attention to detail, accuracy and adhering to Avoca's high standard of service.
- Experience in cycle counting and full stock takes.
- Goods inwards & outwards experience.
- Meridian EPOS knowledge preferable.
