We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operator to join the Boyne Valley Group. You must have similar experience in a previous role. (picking orders in a warehouse, driving a PPT). This is a full time, day role, no shift work. Based in Drogheda.
The role of the Warehouse General Operative within the Logistics function is focused on maintaining the Warehouse as demanded by business needs in an efficient and economic manner. The role includes responsibilities in relation to Logistics, Health and Safety and Risk Management.
Responsibilities: Ensuring that all tasks allocated by the Line Manager are completed in a timely, efficient and safe manner and that the focus will be on accuracy in all areas.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Voice or manual picking of orders with key focus on accuracy and volume (Case per hour to be determined by the Line Managers).
- Advising Inventory / Line Manager of incorrectly located product, date issues and removal of damaged stock to the damages area.
- Assisting Goods In, operating in the rework area and loading in the marshaling area as directed by the Line Manager.
- Maintaining the warehouse and site in a tidy and safe manner.
- Reporting of any hazards or safety issues to the Line Manager.
- Assisting in Stock Counts and cycle counting.
- Ensuring correct placement of products & dates in locations, pick or storage.
- Accurate completion of put-aways/replenishment of stock.
- Flexibility in peak times and other times of operational requirements.
Requirements for the Role:
- Experience in a similar role required.
- Experience within an FMCG environment would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience driving a PPT required
- Experience using voice picking technology an advantage
- Strong communication, teamwork, and positive interpersonal skills.
