Warehouse Operative
An exciting opportunity has arisen within a large distribution business in D12. Supporting the transport manager and our order picking network. This is a full-time, permanent role primarily working Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5pm, however, a degree of flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the business and our customers.
Your Role:
- Order Picking
- Supporting best practise and policies
- Co-ordinating Interbranch transactions
- Supporting our purchasing & sales teams
- Assisting the transport manager daily
Key Attributes:
- Counterbalance & Reach Truck driver qualification is desirable
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills, with great attention to detail
- Committed to delivering an exceptional service and can be relied upon by the warehouse operations team and customers
- Have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use initiative in all aspects of this role and demonstrate a continuous improvement approach with all processes
- Teamwork and flexibility within the role are key
- Ability to anticipate rising needs
- Preferably has computer experience
