Freshtoday is looking for a Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both warehouse operations and occasional driving responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Warehouse Operations:
- Replenish production lines with required inventory to ensure continuous workflow.
- Organize stock in correct placements to optimize space and facilitate efficient inventory management.
- Rotate stock by best before date to maintain product freshness and quality.
- Maintain accurate records of stock best before dates and batch numbers for compliance and quality control.
- Pick stock for production accurately and in a timely manner to meet production requirements.
2. Delivery and Relief Driving:
- Assist with deliveries to clients and ensure on-time and accurate delivery of products.
- Conduct an efficient walk-around inspection of the delivery vehicle, reporting any defects in a timely manner.
- Act as a relief driver when needed, adhering to safe driving practices and traffic regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
3. Work Schedule:
- This position starts work at 12 midnight.
4. IT Ability and English Proficiency:
- Demonstrate excellent English reading and writing skills for effective communication.
- Utilize IT skills to manage Delivery’s using digital systems and software.
- Requires a keen understanding of Android-based apps for warehouse management.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in warehouse operations and/or delivery driving is desirable.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
