We’re now looking for a reliable, hard-working Warehouse\*Stores Operative* to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s interested in tools, equipment, or the trades, and wants to start a career in a growing industry. No previous warehouse experience is required – full training will be provided.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in keeping the warehouse running smoothly by:
- Maintaining accurate stock records through our inventory system (training provided).
- Helping to track and manage stock levels to ensure we always have the right items in place.
- Receiving deliveries and checking products against paperwork.
- Labelling and storing items correctly
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe.
- Reporting any damaged or missing stock.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and an interest in tools, hardware, or trade equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is curious about how things work.
You’ll need to:
- Be organised and pay attention to detail.
- Be comfortable working on your feet and lifting stock (light to medium weight).
- Show reliability, punctuality, and a good work ethic.
- Be comfortable using or learning basic IT systems.
- Work well with others and follow instructions.
Preferable (but not essential):
- Any experience with tools, DIY, trades, or technical equipment.
- Previous work in retail, warehouse, or stock handling.
- Familiarity with inventory or stock systems.
- Forklift licence (or willingness to train).
Working Hours
- Full-Time Position
- 39 Hours per week.
