Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Support on retail counter.
- Lead, coach, and support warehouse staff to maintain a high-performing, motivated team.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock control activities to ensure accuracy and availability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment at all times.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to maintain timely and efficient logistics.
- Identify process improvements to increase productivity and operational efficiency.
- Handle incoming deliveries and oversee proper storage and organisation of stock.
- Maintain clean and orderly warehouse conditions, ensuring space is optimised for safety and efficiency.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track, report, and manage daily tasks and performance metrics.
- Liaise with branch and area management to align warehouse activities with wider business goals.
Skills and Experience
- Great communication skills demonstrate the ability to develop customer and colleague relationships.
- Leading a warehouse operations team with a customer first attitude.
- Knowledge of Recruitment processes.
- Knowledge and understanding of P Ls, and the booking of in and out stock.
- Strong ability to highlight and resolve Health and Safety concerns.
- Ability to review, challenge and develop colleagues in order to achieve their best and help them develop.
