Welding Product Line Leader
McHale is seeking to recruit a number of Welding Product Line Leaders to manage teams of up to 12 welders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage one of our product lines in welding and ensure parts are delivered on time.
- Ensure the teams work meets the internal quality standards by doing quality checks.
- Provide training and guidance to your team on all aspects of the product line.
- Ensure the SOPs are accurate and up to date.
- Ensure all team members are developed and trained.
- Lead by example and ensure team members are motivated and engaged.
- Drive continuous improvement in the product line by implementing lean principles.
- Collaborate with other line leads, other departments and management to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a busy Welding/Fabrication department.
- Leadership experience desirable but not essential.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work off your own initiative.
