Accounts Assistant – Celtic Whiskey, Muirfield Road, Dublin 12

Key Responsibilities

Working with the Purchasing Manager to support POs and landings
Processing invoices and reconciling to Pos, delivery dockets and contracted pricelists
Monthly creditor reconciliations
Assist with monthly invoicing and sales reconciliations
Assist the Accounts Receivable team from time to time with credit control
Logging queries internally and externally and bringing them to a successful resolution.
Posting accounting journals as needed.
There is a high usage of Excel, so Excellent Excel knowledge is required.
Post the supplier payments and Monthly Bank Reconciliation.
Assist with finance & general administrative duties
Ad hoc duties as requested by Management
Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes

What we are looking for

This is a busy office environment and you will be dealing with colleagues from different departments within the business, as well as external customers and suppliers. A fluent level of both written and spoken English is therefore essential
Previous experience of working in a finance team and use of accounting software
Strong Excel skills
Good interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment, and prioritise demands during busy periods
A problem solver, able to work on their own initiative and utilise their own skills and experience to further develop and improve business systems and procedures

Experience:

1-2 years’ experience in finance/ accounts
Excel essential
While you will be predominantly office based during your initial training period, some working from home will be possible, providing it meets with the needs of the business

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €35,000.00-€37,000.00 per year
