We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team at the Grand Hotel, Malahide on a full-time basis. If you have a passion for numbers, excellent organizational skills, and 2–3 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Accounts Payable processes
- Process and manage creditors’ invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain and update the Purchase Order log
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice or payment queries
- Support the finance team with general administrative tasks as required
- Assist in month-end reporting and reconciliations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role (ideally 2–3 years)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., Sage, SAP, or similar)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential
