Associate Process Engineer

As Kneat continues to expand, we are looking for an enthusiastic Associate Process Engineer to join our Operations department.
Position overview
Reporting to our Process Engineering Manager the Associate Process Engineer will support the delivery of digital validation solutions and process improvement initiatives for our life sciences customers.
The successful candidate will contribute to project execution, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and engage with customers to ensure high-quality outcomes. We are seeking someone with a background in engineering or life sciences who is curious about SaaS platforms and eager to work at the intersection of regulated processes and digital innovation to ensure our customers derive maximum value from the Kneat Gx platform. Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of digital validation software, including process mapping and validation activities across customer projects.
- Work closely with customers to understand their processes and translate them into digital workflows.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to support project delivery.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to resolve issues and ensure alignment.
- Demonstrate increasing independence in managing tasks and responsibilities.
- Apply understanding of industry standards and quality procedures to ensure compliance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of templates, SOPs, and best practice guides.”

Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
- Typically 2+ years of relevant experience in a regulated or technical environment, preferably in validation. Equivalent education and project exposure also considered.
- Familiarity with validation principles and quality systems.
- Interest in software and digital tools, with a willingness to learn about SaaS platforms.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Exposure to life sciences or other regulated industries.
- Professional accountability and a proactive approach to learning.
Nice to haves
- Exposure to SaaS or cloud-based platforms.
- Experience with digital validation platforms or SaaS tools.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GAMP or 21 CFR.
- Interest in process improvement and continuous development.
- Project Management experience and / or PMP certification.
