We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious Site Engineer to join our team in Kerry.
Responsibilities:
Health, Safety, Quality & Environment (HSQE):
Understand and enforce the company’s Safety Statement and HSQE management systems.
Comply with all relevant statutory HSE legislation and ensure site activities meet legal and company requirements.
Prepare and deliver method statements, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
Report unsafe practices or incidents to the relevant manager immediately.
Maintain safe work practices, particularly near water and public roads, and ensure correct use of PPE.
Act as the HSE lead in the absence of the Project Manager/Site Agent.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in a setting-out/site engineer role, ideally in civil or utility infrastructure.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in setting out, use of surveying equipment, and familiarity with construction drawings and specifications.
Knowledge: Awareness of water/wastewater systems is highly desirable.
Professional Membership: Member of a relevant engineering institution is an advantage.
Communication: Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills to engage with multiple stakeholders.
Commitment: Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practices.
IT Skills: Competent with MS Office and AutoCAD.
