An exciting opportunity to lead an existing small team to produce occasion cakes, traditional cakes & bread for our onsite and offsite cafes.
The role requires
Lead a small tem of bakers & finishers in a inclusive, respectful manner.
Liase with suppliers to ensure good quality & value to enable us to perform within profit margins.
Complete weekly stocktaking & ordering.
Write work schedule fortnightly.
Train new & existing employees as necessary.
Follow in house recipies & introduce new products from time to time.
Maintain HACCP monitoring & records.
Communicate & work together with other team leaders.
Update systems as required.
Monitor equipment, report and manage repairs as necessary.
The candidate
Have at least 5 years experience as a baker/finisher/pastry chef.
Passionate about good food and our brand.
Energetic and interested.
Love busy environments and early starts
Customer focused.
Great time management skills
Ability to delegate & communicate.
