O Sheas Hotel Tramore are now inviting applications for the position ofexperienced Bar Food Supervisor.
The role
- To ensure that customers are welcomed and served in a friendly, professional and efficient manner and that orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner to the standards required.
- Ensure that you receive a handover briefing at the beginning of your shift to ensure that you are aware of any events or special requirements for the day.
- Ensure that the highest levels of hygiene are maintained and that the food and beverage service areas are kept clean and tidy and are fully prepared for service at all times.
- Ensure correct till operations are adhered to.
- Check frequently that guests are content with meal/beverage/service and ensure that all guests receive polite and courteous attention.
- Ensure tables are always free of unnecessary crockery, cutlery, sauces etc.
- Maintain a close working relationship with other departments.
- Strive to have a complete knowledge of all elements of the food and beverage product in order to communicate comprehensively this product to the customer.
- Adhere to all purchasing and stock control systems and procedures in place.
- Ensure that a complete handover is done with the on-coming shift and that any checklists, reports and tasks have been completed.
- Shift work & flexibility are required in this position.
