Overview
The Sceilp Inn is a family-run Irish pub with a proud tradition of hospitality spanning five generations. We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Bar Staff to join our team and deliver excellent customer service in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve drinks to customers promptly, efficiently, and with a high standard of customer service.
- Operate tills, handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the bar, lounge, and service areas.
- Restock bar supplies including glassware and beverages.
- Check identification and ensure compliance with licensing laws and responsible service of alcohol.
- Support with setting up and closing down the bar, including cleaning, stock counts, and securing premises.
- Handle customer queries or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work as part of a team to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bar or hospitality is desirable but not essential (training will be provided).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be 18 years or over.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €13.50-€15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 37.5 per week
