We specialise in the installation and maintenance of advanced, energy-efficient heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and piping systems.
We are currently seeking a BIM Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position based at our head office and warehouse in Ballycoolin, Dublin 11. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing BIM processes, facilitating collaboration across project teams, and ensuring high-quality documentation is delivered in line with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage BIM models across multiple projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and site teams to integrate mechanical systems into fully coordinated BIM models.
- Develop and maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
- Perform clash detection and resolve design issues using software such as Navisworks or Revit.
- Support the implementation of company BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.
- Produce detailed 2D drawings, schedules, and reports extracted from BIM models.
- Liaise with external consultants, subcontractors, and clients to meet all BIM requirements.
- Maintain structured file management systems and ensure proper model version control.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to internal teams on BIM tools and processes.
- Participate in coordination meetings and design workshops.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a BIM role within the mechanical or building services sector.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM360 (or equivalent platforms).
- Strong understanding of mechanical services (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).
- Knowledge of construction processes, industry standards, and digital workflows.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Relevant third-level qualification in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards.
- Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDEs).
