JCPS Mechanical Ltd require a BIM Co Ordinator to join our team, to manage BIM processes and ensure effective collaboration to deliver high quality documentation in line with project specifications. This role is a full-time permanent position and will be based out of our head office/warehouse in Ballycoolin, Dublin 11.
Job Details
- Coordinate and manage BIM models across multiple projects to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and site teams to integrate mechanical systems into coordinated BIM models.
- Develop and maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
- Perform clash detection and resolve design issues using software tools such as Navisworks or Revit.
- Support the implementation of company BIM standards and protocols.
- Produce detailed 2D drawings and schedules extracted from the BIM model as required.
- Liaise with external consultants, subcontractors, and clients to ensure BIM requirements are met.
- Maintain a structured file management system and model version control.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on BIM processes and tools.
- Participate in coordination meetings and design workshops.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar BIM role within the mechanical or building services industry.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM360 (or similar platforms).
- Strong understanding of mechanical services (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).
- Knowledge of construction processes, standards, and digital workflows.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Relevant third-level qualification in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards.
- Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDEs).
