With a dedicated team of approximately 140 employees, we are committed to driving sustainable energy solutions and delivering exceptional service across Ireland.Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team at Ecoplex Energy Solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the business's accurate financial records, by recording and processing financial transactions, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, ensuring compliance with the revenue commissioners and supporting the company’s financial operations.Key Responsibilities: Manage accounts payable processes with precision, including reconciling creditor accounts and liaising with suppliers to resolve queries efficiently. Reconciling the company bank / petty cash accounts in a timely manner and ensuring accurate allocation and posting of transactions to maintain general ledger accounts. Completing monthly RCT, PAYE and VAT Returns. Utilise Sage accounting software (Sage 50 experience preferred) to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company standards. Assist in preparing timely and accurate financial information to support monthly management accounts. Support payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations (prior payroll experience is a plus). Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of financial operations. Demonstrate a proactive, hands-on approach to bookkeeping tasks, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.Qualifications and Skills: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, ideally in a client facing role. ATI Qualified or In progress is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with payroll platforms and processing is advantageous. Excellent understanding of VAT, RCT and payroll compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. A proactive attitude and willingness to “get stuck in” to support the team’s goals.What We Offer: Salary Range: From €45,000 - €55,000 per annum DOE, plus a performance-based bonus at year end for delivering accurate and timely management accounts.
