About Thomas Davis GAA Club:
Thomas Davis GAA Club is a proud and historic club rooted in the heart of the Tallaght community. Our clubhouse and facilities serve not only as a sporting hub but also as a warm and welcoming space for members, families, and visitors. We are now seeking a friendly, reliable Café/Kitchen Assistant to support the day-to-day running of our café, ensuring a high standard of service and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and serving of hot and cold food and beverages.
- Operate tea/coffee machines and basic kitchen equipment.
- Ensure the café area and kitchen are kept clean, tidy, and compliant with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Take orders, handle cash/card payments, and provide friendly, efficient customer service.
- Restock supplies and alert the manager to low stock levels.
- Support the smooth running of the café during busy matchdays and club events.
- Follow all health and safety, hygiene, and food handling guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and welcoming café environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a café, kitchen, or food service role is preferred but not essential – training will be provided.
- Friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Good communication skills and a strong team player.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and during club events.
- A commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety at all times.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: €10.50-€13.50 per hour
