We are seeking a dynamic and talented individual to become part of our Corporate Affairs Team as a Communications Associate in Ireland. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in communications, patient engagement, and government affairs.
Accountabilities
- Support and lead the creation and dissemination of engaging content for internal communication platforms, LinkedIn, and the corporate website.
- Lead in the coordination and execution of internal events.
- Manage compliance requirements and approvals for dissemination of materials.
- Manage AstraZeneca's internal content calendar, newsletter, internal nucleus page, and work vivo to ensure timely and relevant communication.
- Monitor media and policy issues.
- Support drafting of briefing documents, presentations, and other materials.
- With support, manage and drive our Corporate Social Responsibility projects.
- Support the Corporate Affairs team in various ad-hoc duties as required.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Work on your own initiative, drive projects you are responsible for.
- Excited to take on new tasks and grow within the team.
- Actively participate in meetings.
- Proven interest in the pharmaceutical/health environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a keen eye for storytelling and content creation.
- Excellent time management and people skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a small collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities.
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
