We now have a fantastic new opportunity for Conference Manager to join our team and contribute to the future success of Killashee Hotel.
Conference and Meeting room spaces have been refurbished and redesigned providing as with state-of-the-art facilities for our customers to enjoy.
Objective of the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, Conference Manager will be responsible for smooth running of all conferences in the hotel, and ensure that our guests experience the highest quality service at meetings and events.
Main Duties:
- To ensure that our customer receive excellent during conferences and meetings
- Responsible for correct rostering within the department
- Engage with guest and act upon guest feedback, actively encouraging customer reviews
- Ensuring SOPs are updated and all team members are fully trained
- Provide team training on our standards and customer service
- Working alongside and supporting Operations Manager in all departmental projects, initiatives
- Motivate and create engaging work environment for all the team members
- To have excellent product knowledge and enjoy sharing it
- Responsible for guiding and mentoring team members to ensure that they are continuing to learn and develop
Key Requirements:
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated and have positive attitude
- Passionate about hospitality and excellent service
- Flexible with hours/ own transport
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, time management and organisational skills
