As we continue our journey toward becoming Ireland’s most trusted and sustainable business, we have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our Insight and Innovation team as a Consumer Insights Internship.
This role will work within the Insight Team within the Insight and Innovation Function and will support the business in the delivery of timely, actionably insight.
You will get the opportunity to work as part of a fast paced and diverse team. Getting exposure with Retailers and Store Managers. Working with the Regional Managers and Sales teams. Working as part of the team you will feed into key presentations that are used by the Senior Management within Musgrave.
Transactional NPS is a key function of the role and using the data that this gives us as a way of driving insights and results across the business.
What you'll be doing:
- Working with the Marketing and Trading teams to build insight into commercial plans and range reviews
- Supporting our online shopper community for example;
- Scripting, testing, moderating, publishing, analysis, reporting & providing community support
- Supporting our Voice of the Customer platforms (TNPS)
- You will produce store reports that will provide a deep insight for Store Managers and Retailers in relation to what their customers are telling them.
- Analysing data to drive insights for the brand on key elements of customer experience (both quantitatively and qualitatively)
- Managing remedy ticket que system for stores to log queries and tickets.
- Assisting with ad-hoc insights projects as required, for example;
o On the ground research projects such as exit interviews, online focus groups, Voxpops etc
o Briefing agencies on ad hoc research requirements and seeking proposals
o Responding to requests for past insight papers/research
o Conducting ad-hoc quantitative research using tools such as Survey Monkey
o Carrying out qualitative research such as focus groups and accompanied shops
- Dealing with queries as and when required, reporting back to Store Managers, Regional Managers and HR colleagues with full, accurate and timely response
- Managing workload effectively, ensuring work is delivered on time and in accordance with business priorities
- Management and development of relationships with key partners.
- Ensuring the organisation is kept up to date of key consumer trends, moves and new ideas (via internal newsletter)

What we'er looking for:
- A degree in Marketing Management /BIS (min 2.1)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint
- Great Presentation / Communication Skills
- Experience of qualitative and quantitative research techniques
- Ability to translate research data into clear insight which is easy to understand
- Passion for retail and strong interpersonal skills
- Full Drivers Licence
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong analytical capabilities with an emphasis on reading and interpreting data and consumer feedback
- Strong Attention to detail
- Team-working ability
- Eager to learn
Desirable Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in insights role within FMCG, Retail Banking, Telco or research agency
- Experience in filming and editing videos would be beneficial
