DATA ANALYST - DUBLIN

Role:
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join the cost and commercial team working out of the Dublin office. This is a great opportunity to join us at an exciting time and get stuck into some complex projects!
Detail-oriented Data Administrator or Analyst with 1–3 years of experience to support the business through insightful data analysis, dashboard development, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical ability in Power BI and Excel .
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor project and business performance
- Collaborate with management and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and turn them into actionable visual insights.
- Assist in maintaining programme-wide data integrity, including data validation, cleansing, and reconciliations across business systems.
- Compile and distribute monthly and ad-hoc reports to support project governance, highlight emerging risks/issues, and inform decision-making.
- Support the monitoring of KPIs, milestone delivery, earned value, and other metrics relevant to project controls.
- Work with project controls, finance, and scheduling teams to align data inputs and ensure a single version of truth.
- Support continuous improvement of business tools, processes, templates, and automation of repetitive reporting tasks.
- Document reporting processes and maintain knowledge libraries for dashboard maintenance and user guidance.
- Provide occasional training/support to end users on Power BI dashboards.
Skills and Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in a data administration, analyst, or project controls role.
- Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, including:
- Data modelling and relationships
- Report and dashboard design best practices
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, data validation, formulas).
- Experience working with structured datasets (e.g., CSV, Excel, SQL databases, SharePoint Lists).
- Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to interpret trends and identify anomalies.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain technical outputs to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in sectors such as infrastructure, utilities, construction, IT, or engineering.
- Familiarity with project delivery methodologies such as PRINCE2, MSP, APM, or Agile.
- Understanding to Power BI Service (publishing, workspace management, gateway scheduling).
- Experience working with data from project systems such as Primavera P6, MS Project, Oracle, SAP, or Jira.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Project Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience).
- Certification or training in Power BI, Excel, or project management (desirable but not essential).
