Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst. Reporting to the Head of Circulation, this role is responsible for processing and analysing sales data to inform strategic business decisions. The Data Analyst works closely with teams to identify trends, create visualisations, and provide actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain sales data and financial reports.
- Collaborate to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Any other reasonable duties as required of the role.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- Third-level qualification in Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar role.
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail is essential for this role
- Proficiency and experience with data visualisation tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
