Due to our continued business expansion we are recruiting for a delivery driver/Store assistant to join our team, this role will help ensure smooth running of our company office in Hollymount Industrial Estate, Blarney Rd, Cork.
Responsibilities :
- Be responsible for delivery of goods to customer sites
- Ensure signatures are received on all paperwork
- Ensure paperwork is returned to accounts Office
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Assist stores in picking and packing deliveries
- Ensure that no stock leaves the store without the proper paperwork & signatures required
- Handle occasional customer queries at the collections counter
- Carry out stock taking exercises as required
- Use a forklift when required in accordance with standard forklift operating procedures
- Have basic computer skills i.e. ability to use email and our sales and inventory system
- Will be open to variation in job role as required i.e. flexibility essential in line with needs of the company
- Must be a good team player, a good people person, have good customer service skills
Requirements :
- Full clean driving license
- Experience in similar role
- Manual Handling Cert
- A good level of physical fitness
- Experience & Knowledge of electrical and plumbing products a distinct advantage but not necessary as full training will be provided
