Duty Manager required for a busy Independent Living/Direct Provision Centre in Ballybofey, Co. Donegal, to cover a maternity leave contract.
Full-time 40 hour contract (Maternity Cover) including ability to rotate weekend shift coverage. Shifts vary between the hours of 8am - 6pm (Monday - Friday) and 9am - 5:30pm (Saturday and Sunday).
Hospitality/Social Care background would be advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
The ideal candidate must adhere to policies and procedures to ensure service is delivered in accordance with agreed standards throughout the centre. The centre operates IPAS contracts with inspections from IPAS and HIQA. The ideal candidate must ensure a professional, friendly and courteous service to all residents while supporting their needs working with external government supports, volunteers and NGOs.
A Duty Managers role includes but not limited to the following;
* Supporting the Centre Managers oversight and management of location.
* Support residents with their integration into centre life, participation in activities and general integration into the wider community.
* Support room inspections and support resident in house rule compliance and understanding.
* Some housekeeping and light gardening tasks.
* Run our Resident Activity Program with internal and external events.
* Ensure Supporting all Health and Risk Initiatives, Fire Safety Management and Risk Management.
* Computer Skills: Needs to have clear professional communication style for emails and phone use. Strong basic to intermediate word and excel skills required.
* Drivers License: Must have full license. Ability to support satellite location. Mileage, and travel time provided for temp support.
* Garda Vetted: Must pass Garda Vetting before commencing new position.
