Job Title: Early Years Educator – Supervisor

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Educator (Supervisor) to oversee the daily running of our early years classrooms and support our team in delivering high-quality care and education. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of childcare regulations, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with management team in daily running of the service
- Lead and support the team to deliver a play-based curriculum in line with Aistear and Síolta.
- Ensure the service operates in compliance with the Tusla Early Years Services Regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, policies, and procedures.
- Support the professional development and supervision of educators.
- Build strong partnerships with parents, families, and the wider community.
- Oversee health, safety, and welfare of children at all times.
- Conduct regular room observations and quality audits to ensure best practice.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education.
- At least 1 years’ experience in a supervisory or senior educator role in an early years setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016, Aistear, and Síolta.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Garda Vetting clearance and up-to-date First Aid, Child Protection, and Manual Handling training (desirable).
Desirable:
- Experience in staff mentoring and curriculum planning.
- Familiarity with inspection processes (Tusla, Department of Education, Pobal).
