We’re on the lookout for an entry-level account executive to join our growing team and provide support across a diverse range of medical communications projects. This is an opportunity to become part of an established team and kick-start your career in med comms!
The role
We produce precise, compelling scientific content for a range of different audiences to educate and inform healthcare professionals and patients. Our team is recognized globally for consistently producing high-quality work and delivering outstanding client service.
This role offers exposure to multiple types of projects, including, medical affairs, cross-functional activities, meetings, advisory boards, symposia, as well as field-based materials like infographics, podcasts and scientific messaging.
You could be based at any of our UK offices or completely at home within the UK or Ireland.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborating effectively with editorial, client services, digital and design colleagues to ensure the smooth running of projects from briefing to delivery
- Developing a positive client partnership both through day-to-day support and by understanding clients’ challenges to actively contribute to organic growth
- Confidently maintaining the financial management of projects, including forecasting, invoicing and budget reporting to clients
What you’ll need
- An academic background in the life sciences or an understanding or interest in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects to the agreed deadlines
- The ability to work flexibly, professionally and enthusiastically with client teams and external experts, and a willingness to travel
- A proactive approach, taking responsibility for managing competing demands on your time
- An eagerness to learn and receive feedback as part of your development process
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to collaborate effectively with colleagues as part of an integrated account team
- An exceptional eye for detail and accuracy
- An intellectual curiosity with an open and approachable attitude
