PURPOSE OF ROLE

To conceptualise, design, and execute bespoke luxury experiences that showcase Boodles' exquisite jewellery collections whilst creating memorable and personalised experiences for our discerning clientele.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Event Design & Planning

· Develop creative event concepts that align with Boodles' brand heritage and luxury positioning

· Design unique experiences for private viewings, trunk shows, and exclusive client celebrations

· Create strategic event frameworks and experience journeys that enhance client engagement

· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of jewellery presentations within event programming

Venue & Vendor Management

· Source and negotiate with premium venues that complement Boodles' luxury aesthetic

· Establish relationships with high-end suppliers including florists, caterers, photographers, and entertainment providers

· Coordinate with security specialists to ensure proper protection of valuable jewellery pieces during events

· Manage vendor contracts and oversee delivery of services to Boodles' exacting standards

Client Experience & Relationship Building

· Craft personalised experiences for VIP clients and collectors

· Plan intimate gatherings that foster relationships between clients and Boodles' craftspeople

· Develop event programming that educates attendees about gemology, craftsmanship, and jewellery heritage

· Create opportunities for clients to interact with bespoke design services in elegant settings

Creative & Technical Execution

· Oversee event styling, lighting, and spatial design to enhance jewellery presentations

· Coordinate with visual merchandising teams to create compelling displays

· Manage event photography and content creation for internal use

· Ensure all events reflect Boodles' commitment to excellence and attention to detail

Budget & Project Management

· Develop and manage event budgets whilst maintaining luxury standards

· Track expenses and provide detailed financial reporting

· Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand experience delivery

· Evaluate event success and develop strategic recommendations for future experiences

Essential Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Design or related field

· Minimum 3 years' experience in luxury event planning, brand activations, or high-end hospitality

· Proven track record of delivering exceptional experiences and managing multiple stakeholders

· Strong project management skills with ability to deliver multiple events simultaneously

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience in client-facing roles

· Creative flair with attention to detail and visual design capabilities

· Proficiency in event management platforms and Microsoft Office suite

· Understanding of luxury brand environment and premium client expectations

Desirable Qualifications

· Experience in luxury goods, jewellery, or high-end fashion industry

· Knowledge of gemology or fine craftsmanship

· Additional language skills

- Professional event planning certification
